Our goal is to help our members improve their health and fitness, achieve incredible things, and get results that have a lasting impact on their quality of life – all while having some fun along the way.

When you walk through the door at Core Training, you can be sure that every decision is made with you in mind. Our highly skilled and qualified coaches have one goal: to deliver the best possible experience to each and every member.

Whether you are doing Personal (1-1), Semi-Private (1-4), or Group (1-10) Training, we ensure that every exercise is tailored to you – meaning you just need to show up and follow our lead to make the most of your time with us.

We also offer nutrition – implementing a plan that will support both your training and your goals, based on the most up-to-date scientific research.

Meet the Team

  • Laura Holmes

    Founder & Perinatal Coach

    Laura is one of the founders of Core Training. She qualified in 2014 and has spent the last decade on coaching people and helping them become the healthiest and fittest versions of themselves. In 2020 she qualified in pre and post natal fitness as 80% of women go through this process and felt she wanted to give them the proper support they needed.

  • Will Holmes

    Founder & Head Coach

    Will is one of the founders of Core Training and our head coach. Will qualified in 2015 and has spent the last decade on coaching people and helping them become the healthiest and fittest versions of themselves. To ensure he provides the best service Will continually works on updating his qualifications and providing our clients the best he can.

  • Athenaïs Garreau

    Coach

    Athenais is our new coach. Having qualified in 2021 she is relatively new to the personal training world, but having been an avid gym goer before then she is a great coach and addition to the team.

    Koda Holmes

    Mascot

    Koda is the gym’s mascot, there to give you support before, during and after your training.
