No protein powder high protein pancakes

I honestly don’t like foods made with protein powder, but I do love to get extra protein in whenever I can. So here I have some high protein pancakes that taste good and are super nutritious.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 1 Egg

  • 100g of low-fat quark

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of baking powder

  • 40g of oat flour

  • 20ml of milk

Method :

  1. Separate your egg white from the yolk and beat the egg white until it’s stiff.

  2. Mix the egg yolk with the quark

  3. Then mix the egg white into the yolk and quark mixture.

  4. Blend your oats in the blender to make oat flour.

  5. Add the oats to the mixture with the salt and baking powder.

  6. Cook over a low heat in a non stick pan.(I do use Frylight cooking spray on my pan so note if you use oil or butter it will add calories)

Without toppings : 290 calories
